I started Leading Edge Knife Works in early 2018, I made a few fixed blades before deciding they weren't really for me. I always carry a Legal folding knife with me, you don't know you need one until you leave yours at home and find a task that needs or would be dramatically easier with a knife. If you know, you know.

At that time there weren't that many quality options available especially in friction folders. So I designed a few and have been constantly improving on the designs as I move forward.

Above you can see the highly popular Mk 2 Pocket Chefs Knife, known as a PCK. This particular knife has a blade of RWL-34 stainless steel, liners made of brass and scales of Lava Fat Carbon

I believe simplicity is best and generally try not to go over the top for the sake of it. I make dependable tools that you can rely on day in day out. I would much rather see my knives used for the tasks they're designed for, (not as screwdrivers thank you very much) rather than sitting in a display cabinet.

The knife shown above is one of my particular favourite designs. A small friction folder known as the Mini FF. this has a small blade and disappears in your pocket. an all round brilliant EDC option!
