The Association is a not for profit group dedicated to the promotion and preservation of handcrafted knives, being formed by a group of dedicated custom knife makers with the express purpose of fostering the design, manufacture, sale and use of custom knives made throughout Ireland. The Association has members from all walks of life with a variety of styles and influences evident in their work. Membership includes makers from the newest enthusiast to professionals who are recognized around the world but the common feature being an exceptional level of craftsmanship which truly represents the best that Ireland has to offer.
